You lucky SOB, you didn’t think I was gonna leave you hangin on my first day with this blog did you? Of course you did, what else could you expect from “another make money online blog“… Maybe I’d make a list of my favorite anti-hemorrhoid creams or something. Hmm, WWJCD? (What Would John Chow Do?)

NOPE. I’m starting things off with a bang. A great little method that will allow you to bank $100 in the next couple hours or so if you follow through. But first a little disclaimer:

Many of the methods that will be discussed here on NETGREED may be considered “blackhat”. What this means is that you should be blanking referrers and diluting your conversion ratio. If this sounds foreign to you don’t worry. These topics and many more will be discussed in the coming days. With that said, proceed with caution and, as always, at your own risk!

I should also mention that I assume you guys are “internet marketers” meaning you have at least one domain, you’re accepted into at least one affiliate network, and you know how to use Google search.

This method deals with getting traffic from Craigslist and using your brain to monetize it. Actually you won’t be using your brain, you’ll be using mine. If you didn’t already know, Craigslist is a goldmine for internet marketers willing to take a risk (a tiny one at that). You have literally millions of visitors for pretty much every niche out there, it’s just a matter of matching the right offer to the right section.

What we’re going to do is target those who may be in need of a Free Credit Report. These offers typically pay out around $20 base for getting a visitor to sign-up with a credit card. Not too shabby for our purposes. So who exactly may be in need of a credit report? I hope you can think of at least 5 different reasons but I’ll give you an easy one to go wild with… people looking for an apartment. 

You better be connecting the dots here… You are now the new manager of Riverview Apartments! Get yourself a business gmail to keep things organized. Now hit up Craigslist and see if you can find where people are looking to rent. “Apts/Housing” Congratulations you can read! This is where you’re going to be getting your potential leads.

Also go ahead and get a decent picture of an apartment. Get a picture that could be ANY apartment, big, small, luxury, cheap, whatever. Get something generic. Set an average monthly rent and be believable. Post 3 or 4 ads in different cities and you will start receiving a flood of responses. 

When you reply to these emails you want to seem like you have a real apartment and you need to get a tenant ASAP. Pretend to be an apartment manager (ie, be a douche) and question the person about age, pets, music, etc. Once you come to an understanding then you hit them with the Free Credit Report offer. There’s a million reasons why you would want a potential tenant to fill one out but here’s a script for you to fool around with:

“Okay well you seem like the kind of tenant we’re looking for. I’d like to get you moved in as quickly as possible, can you give me a timeframe on when you’d be able to come over and check the place out? I’m available after 10AM Monday through Friday. Also I need you to get a credit check since we’ve had a lot of tenants late on rent due to the economy. We want to make sure you can afford to stay here. We do our credit checks through YOUR AFF LINK HERE so just get your report and email it to me ASAP. Talk to you soon…”

Use your own wording and create a response that feels natural to you. If everyone who reads NETGREED copy/pastes my example I can guarantee it won’t work.

That’s the basics of this method. If you want to make real money with it you will have to be creative and put your own spin on it. Regardless this is a proven way to make some quick bank.
